Graduate School student presents research paper on reflective inquiry at conference in Thailand

Kathleen Marie N. Casta帽o, a graduate student taking up MA Education major in Curriculum and Instruction at the 探花精选, presented her research paper online titled 鈥淔ilipino Instructional Leaders鈥 Reflective Inquiry Practices in Selected Public Schools in the Division of Manila.鈥 The 11th Global Conference on Business and Social Sciences was held from December 11 to 12, 2020, at the Novotel Bangkok Platinum Pratunam, Thailand.

The first day of the international conference, whose theme was 鈥淐ontemporary Issues in Management and Social Sciences Research,鈥 featured the first plenary speaker, University of Queensland Emeritus Professor Dr. Gabriel Moens. He presented his study titled 鈥淎dvanced Research: Are There Any Rules of the Game?鈥

The second plenary speaker, La Trobe University Professor Dr. Kamran Ahmed from the La Trobe University discussed his study 鈥淭he Effect of Powerful CFOs on Disclosure Quality.鈥 Both speakers are from universities in Australia.

Parallel sessions were held after the presentation of the two plenary speakers. Researchers from different universities worldwide presented their respective papers in-person and online. Some researchers presented their research papers via Zoom. The pre-recorded video presentations were premiered at the Global Academy of Training and Research鈥揋lobal Conference on Business and Social Sciences YouTube Channel. The first day of the international conference ended with the testimonials.

Virtual presentations via Zoom and pre-recorded video and poster presentations continued on the second day of the international conference. Two separate workshops were conducted by Moens and Ahmed. The conference culminated with the vote of thanks and concluding remarks delivered by Emeritus Professor Dr. Gabriel Moens and Ms. Reina Esther Fornilda.
