PORTO, Analyn E.

Prof. Analin Empaynado Porto is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from聽 探花精选. She finished her Master of Education major in School Leadership at De聽 La Salle University Graduate School and earned her degree in Doctor in Educational Management at聽 the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.聽

Prof. Porto is a former research associate of the Research Center for Social Science and Education聽 (RCSSED). She is currently an academic staff of the UST Faculty of Pharmacy-Department of聽 Medical Technology and an affiliate faculty of the UST Graduate School under the Education and聽 Leadership cluster.听听

Apart from being a Registered Medical Technologist, Prof. Porto is also a Licensed Professional聽 Teacher. Her most recent research publications in the field of education are 鈥淓xploring the Road聽 Less Travelled: Attitude, Satisfaction and Competency of Senior High School Students in the聽 Technical Vocational Livelihood Track鈥 and 鈥淎dopting e-learning technologies in higher聽 educational institutions: The role of organizational culture, technology acceptance and attitude.鈥 She聽 received a Silver Series Award from the University鈥檚 Research Center for her research publications.聽 She has also co-authored textbooks in Health and Algebra.听听

Prof. Porto is also among the pioneer batch of UST鈥檚 Training the Trainor Program for its e learning access program (eleap) in 2005. She received training in e-learning program development聽 and implementation thru a Certification Program offered by INWENT Germany where she is one聽 of the international scholars. She has served as secretary and board member of the Philippine E learning Society where they have conducted e-learning trainings to various HEIs in the Philippines.聽

Her preliminary administrative experience varied from being chairs of various committee,听 Department coordinator, member of the Dean鈥檚 council, and E-learning Training and Development聽 Manager of the UST Educational Technology Center. In Jan. 2019, she was appointed as Assistant Director of the University鈥檚 Purchasing Office. At present, she is the Director for Administration of聽 the 探花精选 Hospital.聽
